Formation

Formation · A Friend

The music video for Formation's track 'A Friend' presents a visceral and high-tension narrative centered on a physical confrontation within a subway carriage. Produced by Bullion Productions, the work leans into a gritty atmosphere, utilizing dynamic camera movements and slow motion to heighten the physical intensity of the scene. The production captures a stark, cinematic aesthetic defined by desaturated color grading and the authentic textures of an underground train, including patterned upholstery and overhead fluorescent lighting. The project captures a live-action performance that emphasizes movement and spatial confinement.
