Foam Magazine · Marina Abramović

For this editorial feature in Foam Magazine, photographer Kwabena Sekyi Appiah-nti captures artist Marina Abramović in a series of intimate, high-contrast portraits. The shoot leans into a cinematic aesthetic, utilizing monochromatic palettes and soft, ambient lighting to frame the subject. The compositions, which incorporate distinct analogue film elements, explore a minimalist visual language. By focusing on textural detail and stark geometry, the production maintains a contemplative tone throughout the series.
