Esquire Boss

Esquire Boss · Jordan Barrett

This editorial series for Esquire Boss features model Jordan Barrett, captured in a collection of portraiture that leans into clean, minimalist aesthetics alongside moody, high-contrast imagery. The project employs a range of techniques, including monochrome palettes, natural light, and the use of gritty textures to establish a cinematic tone throughout the editorial spread. The photography, led by Hector Clark, utilizes both stark studio backgrounds and dynamic lighting to highlight tailored garments, from pinstripe suits to structured winter coats. Direction for the project is attributed to Justin Woo, with Jordan Barrett serving as both the central subject and in a creative direction capacity. The imagery incorporates various visual elements, including selective foreground overlays and sharp lighting, to maintain a consistent editorial narrative across multiple portrait formats.
