AIR UK · Brand Identity

The brand identity for AIR UK, Against Institutional Racism, stands as a masterclass in high-contrast visual communication within the digital media and entertainment sectors. Led by the graphic design expertise of Millie J Tyler, the project establishes a commanding digital presence defined by a vibrant orange and matte black palette that demands immediate attention. By marrying bold, large-scale sans-serif typography with high-end editorial portraiture, the identity system manages to be both structurally rigid and human-centric. The execution leans into a minimalist aesthetic, utilizing clean vector elements and intentional whitespace to elevate complex messaging into a cohesive, recognizable visual language. Throughout the UI illustrations and 3D render assets, the design maintains a rigorous consistency, whether framing news-style reports or cinematic imagery captured in ornate, classical settings. The integration of 3D render and CGI techniques provides a modern, premium polish to the smartphone mockups, while the overall graphic composition ensures the brand remains legible and impactful across mobile interfaces. This project effectively bridges the gap between traditional corporate branding and contemporary activism, proving that strong, structured typography can act as a powerful tool for social advocacy. Through its sophisticated use of color and balance, the identity delivers a distinct, authoritative voice for AIR UK that is both intellectually grounded and visually arresting in a crowded digital landscape.
