VILLALBA

VILLALBA · Brand Identity

The brand identity for VILLALBA serves as a masterclass in editorial minimalism, grounding the luxury fashion house in a visual language that is as precise as it is evocative. Through a cohesive synthesis of corporate collateral and high-fashion editorial imagery, the project leans into a monochromatic palette to emphasize the sophisticated geometry of the brand. With creative direction from Naranjo-Etxeberria, the identity is anchored by a custom, sharp-angled serif typeface that balances tradition with a distinctly modern edge. This typography informs everything from the minimalist stationery and hang tags to the striking high-contrast overlays on campaign photography. The project effectively bridges the gap between commercial clarity and artistic narrative, utilizing macro photography to capture the tactile interplay between polished metallic hardware and intricate lace textures. By placing a premium on negative space and rhythmic branding, the execution highlights the craftsmanship inherent in the label's demi-couture offerings. Whether through the clean lines of a business card or the raw, structured silhouettes of the runway photography, VILLALBA communicates a clear vision of refined, high-end austerity. The result is a comprehensive corporate aesthetic that feels both permanent and cutting-edge, proving that in the world of luxury, the most powerful statements are often the most restrained.
