Title Magazine · Badchieff

This editorial portrait series for Title Magazine spotlights musician Badchieff, captured through the lens of photographer Tobias Kruse. The project leans into a mix of minimalist studio aesthetics and dramatic low-key lighting to highlight the subject's presence, utilizing both monochrome and desaturated color palettes to shift between gritty, high-contrast imagery and soft, natural light compositions. Fashion styling by Neslihan Degerli centers on layered textures and tailoring, ranging from structured suits to patterned knitwear and leather accents. The photography employs a variety of techniques, including chiaroscuro-inspired shadow play and soft directional lighting, to emphasize the sculptural form of the subject's dreadlocks and the clean lines of the featured apparel within a pared-back environment.
