This editorial spread for The New York Times Style Magazine centers on a series of aquatic portraits, defined by an ethereal and atmospheric visual approach. Photographer Georges Antoni captures the subject partially submerged in water, juxtaposing dark, muted apparel with the vibrant inclusion of floating yellow billy button flowers and red blooms. Fashion stylist Nicole Bonython-Hines focuses on clean lines and dark tones, which complement the moody, contemplative nature of the shoot. Featuring hair styling by Joel Forman and makeup by Gillian Campbell, the series utilizes natural light to emphasize surface ripples and delicate botanical textures, leaning into an editorial aesthetic characterized by cool tones and analogue film techniques.
