The Middle Kids

The Middle Kids · Bootleg Firecracker

The Middle Kids' Bootleg Firecracker project presents a series of editorial portraits captured by photographer Seiya Taguchi. The collection balances observational, documentary-style imagery with high-contrast, artistic compositions. Working within outdoor settings, the project moves between overcast, natural light meadows and dramatic, low-key night scenes. These shots leverage long exposure and chiaroscuro techniques to create a moody atmosphere, often accented by vibrant monochrome red tones and cinematic light trails.
