TALQ · Brand Identity

The brand identity for TALQ is a comprehensive design system developed by Area Studio, which integrates kinetic typography with a vibrant, multi-layered color palette. The project spans digital and physical touchpoints, utilizing motion graphics and clean layout structures to establish a modern aesthetic for the technology platform. At the core of the visual language are bold block lettering and rhythmic animations that transition through various languages and typographic weights. The identity features a structured grid system, incorporating both vector-based graphic elements and candid live-action portraiture to convey a community-focused tone. These components are applied across responsive web interfaces, interactive screens, and environmental signage. Design and motion production were led by Area Studio, with further contributions from Maxime Bédard and Amandine Léveillé-Quintric. The project balances sharp, minimalist composition with highly saturated color blocks in shades of blue, burgundy, lilac, and green to maintain consistency across print and digital applications.
