Sister Pictures · Giri/ Haji

Sister Pictures' Giri/Haji title sequence features a distinct animated aesthetic crafted by Studio AKA. The work utilizes a high-contrast visual style, pulling from traditional Japanese ink wash techniques alongside contemporary graphic illustration. The sequence leans into a moody, cinematic atmosphere, defined by a stark red, black, and white palette. The narrative arc follows a figure traversing an arched bridge before shifting into a rain-slicked urban environment, maintaining a cohesive graphic language throughout.
