Royal Opera House · Stuck on a Sunday

Royal Opera House presents 'Stuck on a Sunday,' an animated musical video that merges theatrical performance with abstract design. The piece features a central character—a textured, furry creature—navigating a series of shifting, high-contrast environments. Produced by Studio AKA with an original score by Marc Teitler, the animation utilizes cinematic lighting and a rhythmic pacing to transition from dimly lit shadows into a vibrant landscape of primary-colored geometric planes. The execution leans into a surreal aesthetic, highlighting detailed 3D render/CGI techniques and fluid character movement.
