Rika Studios · Rika Studios Paper NO.11 Poetic Playground

Rika Studios presents Paper NO.11: Poetic Playground, a fashion editorial series that explores the intersection of structural tailoring and atmospheric environments. The project features models Bo Exters and Elise Kouzou, captured through a lens that prioritizes architectural silhouettes and material texture, ranging from heavy wool coats to structured leather and ornate vintage textiles. Photographer Casper van der Linden utilizes diverse settings, alternating between clean, minimalist studio backdrops and rich, historic interiors layered with classical art and stone detailing. The series leans into a moody, grounded aesthetic, employing natural light and chiaroscuro techniques to heighten the contrast between the apparel and its surroundings. Hair styling by Magdalena Loza maintains a clean, refined focus throughout, allowing the detailed composition of each look to remain central to the narrative. The collection makes frequent use of monochrome and analogue film photography, emphasizing strong graphic lines and sharp textural depth. Whether situated in dense natural landscapes or polished interior stairwells, the work maintains a consistent editorial perspective rooted in the interplay of light and form.
