Nike, Kanye West, Nas, Rakim, KRS-One · 'Classic (Better Than I've Ever Been) Remix'

This documentary-style project captures the recording process behind the 'Classic (Better Than I've Ever Been) Remix' featuring Kanye West, Nas, Rakim, and KRS-One for Nike. The production leans into a moody, low-key aesthetic, documenting the technical artistry of the studio environment through intimate, live-action sequences. Produced by Partizan USA with audio work by HeadQCourterz Studios, the film transitions from atmospheric rooftop shots to the granular details of sampling workstations and mixing consoles. Agency Wieden+Kennedy New York oversaw the creative direction, framing the collaborative process within a distinct, chiaroscuro-lit visual narrative.
