Meta Quest

Meta Quest · Supernatural - Ready To Workout

Meta Quest breathes new life into the home fitness landscape with its latest campaign for the Supernatural platform, titled Ready To Workout. This high-energy commercial masterfully bridges the gap between traditional athletic nostalgia and modern immersive gaming. By enlisting icon Jane Fonda to lead a session of aerobics, the agency Mythology taps into a classic fitness aesthetic, pairing vibrant 1980s-inspired athletic wear with the sleek, high-tech reality of virtual reality hardware. The project functions as a dynamic cinematic showcase, utilizing live-action technique to seamlessly bridge the gap between a brightly lit, airy studio setting and surreal virtual worlds, such as sweeping glacier landscapes and lush tropical escapes. The fast-paced editing, punctuated by sharp motion graphics and intentional glitch effects, captures the high-intensity nature of these VR exercises, effectively translating the physical exertion of punching and squatting into a visual experience. By leaning into retro pop culture while highlighting the advanced capabilities of the Meta Quest, the project elevates the video games and sports gaming category. The juxtaposition of neon-drenched nostalgia against the futuristic potential of digital fitness environments creates a compelling narrative that feels both accessible and aspirational, positioning the VR headset as an essential, trend-forward tool for those looking to redefine their daily movement routines within the ever-expanding virtual space.
