Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team · Every Team Needs a Dream

Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team explores the intersection of ambition and performance in the film 'Every Team Needs a Dream.' The project captures the high-stakes world of motorsport through a narrative that bridges the gap between grassroots aspiration and professional racing excellence. Developed by AMV BBDO, the film features a cross-cut structure that juxtaposes high-speed track maneuvers with grounded, domestic sequences. The visual execution leans into a desaturated, black-and-white aesthetic, utilizing cinematic camera work and dynamic tracking shots to emphasize the motion of the F1 vehicles. Produced by PRETTYBIRD UK, the piece employs a live-action technique to contrast the intensity of heavy tire smoke and race-day performance against the quiet dedication of a young driver, grounding the technical spectacle in a human-centric story.
