Melbourne Recital Centre · Brand Identity

The Melbourne Recital Centre brand identity project establishes a cohesive visual language for the cultural venue, balancing minimalist aesthetics with bold typographic systems. Developed by MASS, the identity centers on high-contrast color palettes and geometric layouts that define both physical and digital collateral. The project spans a wide range of assets, from street-level urban signage and concert posters to branded merchandise and motion graphics. Techniques such as precise vector manipulation and rhythmic animation anchor the visual system, creating a versatile framework for event promotion. The design relies on clean, sans-serif typography and structured grid layouts to maintain institutional authority while allowing for artistic variation across individual musical performances.
