Ma

Ma · Untitled

This fashion editorial campaign for Ma explores form, texture, and high-contrast composition across a series of studio-based portraits. The imagery leans into a minimalist aesthetic, often juxtaposing structural white garments against vibrant red backdrops or monochromatic black-and-white palettes to create sharp, sculptural silhouettes. Photographer Levon Baird captures the subjects with clean, directional lighting that emphasizes the intricate details of the apparel and avant-garde styling choices. The project is led by creative director Nikki Hillier, with fashion styling by Ilkin Kurt, hair styling by Alan White, make-up by Isabella Schimid, and set design by Carina Hicks. The work utilizes editorial techniques to build a cohesive visual narrative centered on geometric posing and bold, theatrical beauty looks.
