Luke Grimes

Carhartt, Luke Grimes · Setting the Stage

Carhartt’s brand film, Setting the Stage, features actor and musician Luke Grimes as he balances the intensity of touring with the grounding influence of his rural upbringing. The film weaves together performance footage captured from the wings of an outdoor festival stage with intimate documentary sequences set in a quiet, agrarian landscape. Created by Anomaly LA with production by Stept Studios, the project leans into a raw aesthetic. By pairing live-action concert energy with the stillness of farm life, the work utilizes gritty, grainy textures and documentary-style cinematography to ground the fashion brand in a narrative of personal heritage.
