Lucie

Lucie · Beauty close up retouching

Lucie presents a series of beauty portraits that focus on the intersection of skincare texture and vivid cosmetic application. The project utilises extreme macro photography to highlight detailed surface contours, natural moisture, and precise makeup craftsmanship. Photographed by Lucie Sassiat, the series leans into clean, editorial aesthetics. The execution is defined by soft, diffused beauty light that emphasises luminous skin tones and distinct colour palettes, ranging from glossy pinks to bold, matte reds and vibrant oranges. Each frame features meticulous retouching by Ruslana Kharchenko, who maintains natural skin details while accentuating subtle facial highlights and pigment transitions. The minimalist vertical compositions keep the focus entirely on the subject’s features and cosmetic application.
