Konfekt Magazine · The Tone

Konfekt Magazine presents "The Tone," a fashion editorial exploring clean silhouettes and texture through a series of studio-based portraits. Shot by photographer Tobias Delcroix, the project utilizes a stark, seamless white background to isolate vibrant textiles, knitwear, and structured apparel. The aesthetic leans into minimalist composition, emphasizing form and material detail through a mix of soft and directional lighting techniques. Contributing to the visual narrative are hair stylist Maarit Niemela and make-up artist James O'Riley, who maintain a consistent, radiant aesthetic across the series. The work highlights an interplay between natural skin textures and polished styling, resulting in a cohesive editorial collection defined by its crisp, bright visual language.
