JANE by the Grey

JANE by the Grey · Stormy Sea

Stormy Sea is a fashion editorial campaign for JANE by the Grey, captured on location across expansive coastal landscapes. The series leans into a cinematic aesthetic, utilizing a desaturated color palette and natural light to emphasize the movement and tactile qualities of the wardrobe. Photographer Plusia Roms works with model Carolina Burgin to explore contrasts between textured garments and the open, weathered environment. The creative team includes fashion styling by Yana Mckillop, hair styling by Hiroshi Matsushita, and makeup by Natsumi Narita. Through its use of analogue-inspired grain and macro focus, the project highlights intricate details such as lace embroidery and pearl embellishments against the stark, sandy backdrop.
