grill brand Flamid draws on maker’s marks · Brand Identity

For the launch of grill manufacturer Flamid, design studio Hochburg and motion specialist Brussobaum developed a comprehensive brand identity centered on themes of industrial craftsmanship and maker’s marks. The visual system integrates documentary-style photography of metal fabrication with high-contrast, minimalist product imagery to establish a rugged yet refined market presence. The identity employs a deliberate contrast between gritty, industrial textures—captured in monochrome workshop scenes—and atmospheric landscape photography. By utilizing grainy, nostalgic film techniques and bold, clean typography, the design team frames the grills as tools of precision engineering and outdoor endurance. Across packaging, signage, and collateral, the work leans into tactical, screen-printed aesthetics and earth-toned color blocking.
