Esquire The Big Black Book

Esquire The Big Black Book · The Expert Guide to Summer Suits

Esquire The Big Black Book explores seasonal tailoring in The Expert Guide to Summer Suits, a menswear fashion editorial series. The project highlights a range of structured ensembles, from light-toned suits to double-breasted jackets, captured against neutral studio backdrops to emphasize silhouette and fabric texture. The series, captured by photographer Billy Kidd with fashion styling by Nick Sullivan, leans into editorial portraiture with both color and monochrome palettes. The compositions utilize vertical framing and directional lighting, incorporating techniques such as analogue film and chiaroscuro to define the classic menswear aesthetic.
