Contours · The Baby Stroller Test-Ride

In a refreshing departure from standard industry tropes, the Contours campaign for The Baby Stroller Test-Ride flips the traditional product demo on its head with clever observational humor. Rather than relying on the usual polished, infant-centric visuals, the project features a series of live-action segments where adults are placed directly into the strollers, navigating urban environments to test ride quality and ergonomics for themselves. The juxtaposition of grown men and women maneuvering through a park path or past red-brick building exteriors while seated in bright turquoise and yellow gear creates a playful, memorable contrast against the city's muted palette. This humorous approach effectively highlights the brand’s commitment to superior construction, allowing the sheer comfort of the strollers to become the punchline. By utilizing a documentary-style lens to capture these spontaneous reactions, the creative team at FCB Chicago manages to convey technical product benefits without feeling overly commercial. The resulting asset is a lighthearted piece of storytelling that leans into the absurd to prove a functional point, ensuring that the brand remains top-of-mind for parents who value both substance and wit. With high-level production support from Cinema Libertad, the campaign successfully elevates the mundane world of infant gear into a compelling, personality-driven narrative that feels both authentic and undeniably clever in its execution.
