Beauty Department · Under The Sun

Under The Sun is an editorial beauty campaign for Beauty Department, realised through a series of intimate portraits. The project captures raw, organic aesthetic features, leaning into a documentary-style approach that emphasises natural skin texture and subtle details. Under the creative direction of Nadine Monley, and captured by photographer Nicole Bentley, the work utilises natural light and warm, sun-drenched tones to create a cohesive visual narrative. Featuring wet-look styling and close-up framing, the production relies on analogue film techniques to maintain an atmospheric and authentic finish throughout the series.
