Atlético Dallas

Atlético Dallas · Brand Identity

The brand identity for Atlético Dallas serves as a masterclass in modern sports branding, bridging the gap between traditional heraldic legacy and contemporary visual language. Through a sophisticated synthesis of typography, motion graphics, and editorial photography, the project channels a gritty, atmospheric aesthetic that leans into the club's motto, Glory From Dust. The design framework, developed by Moniker and ModestWorks, elevates the brand beyond mere team imagery; it establishes a cohesive ecosystem where bespoke, gothic-inspired serif fonts and sharp vector crests—informed by the precision of heraldic artist Tom Meek—coexist with high-contrast cinematic cinematography. Captured through the lenses of photographers Max Kütz and Blair Getz Mezibov, the campaign utilizes a masterful interplay of low-key chiaroscuro lighting and raw, lifestyle-driven documentary footage to celebrate the tactile nature of football culture. From the intricate macro embroidery of the club crest to the fluid, responsive animation of custom typefaces, every asset reinforces a sense of community and professional rigor. The execution avoids the common pitfalls of derivative sports marketing, instead opting for a minimalist, high-contrast palette of charcoal, light blue, and stark white. By grounding the brand in both grand aerial landscapes and the intimate, visceral detail of the pitch, Atlético Dallas secures an identity that is at once timelessly authoritative and unmistakably urban.
