30 Under 30

30 Under 30 · Case Study

30 Under 30 presents a documentary-style case study documenting an editorial project dedicated to honouring young victims of gun violence. The piece connects the broader 30 Under 30 summit with intimate, personal histories to frame a wider narrative on loss and impact. Featuring a monochrome palette and live-action technique, the project highlights the creation of a memorial magazine developed in collaboration with former Rolling Stone editor-in-chief Alan Light. The film transitions from public event footage to a somber, portrait-focused montage, incorporating personal documentation of victims' lives. This editorial initiative captures stories, dreams, and memories shared by families, providing a tangible output for the ongoing conversation regarding the impact of gun violence.
