Zvelle
Fall 2024 Ad Campaign

Sep 2024
The Zvelle Fall 2024 campaign is a masterclass in theatrical minimalism, anchoring the luxury footwear brand within the evocative, moody confines of an empty theater. Creative director Elle AyoubZadeh leans into a high-contrast aesthetic that feels both intimate and grand, utilizing the rich, saturated textures of red velvet curtains and rows of plush seating to frame a series of striking portraits. Photographer Shervin Lainez expertly navigates this cinematic landscape, employing deep low-key lighting and chiaroscuro techniques to heighten the drama of each composition. Model Pedro Idele appears as the central figure throughout the imagery, his poise and silhouettes creating a powerful sense of anticipation as he interacts with the space—at times parting heavy curtains or caught in a singular spotlight that isolates him against the void. Beyond the human element, the campaign highlights the brand's latest footwear through sophisticated product placements, with some shots using 3D render techniques to suspend the shoes in mid-air against the dark stage backdrop. The result is an editorial narrative that feels inherently stage-bound and deliberate, favoring clean, symmetrical framing and an elegant, sans-serif typography that allows the interplay of shadow and light to define the visual language. This campaign captures the quiet confidence of the Zvelle aesthetic, successfully merging high-fashion sensibilities with the timeless, haunting atmosphere of performance spaces.
