Zimmermann
Spring 2025 Ad Campaign

Jan 2025
For the Zimmermann Spring 2025 ad campaign, the brand leans into a masterclass of textural contrast, setting its latest luxury fashion collection against the raw, desolate beauty of the Moroccan desert. Under the creative direction of Nicky Zimmermann and Emil Vrisakis, the project channels a spirit of ethereal resilience, casting model Abee Nyial as the central figure whose striking silhouette—complemented by a closely cropped hairstyle—anchors the vast, sandy landscape. Photographed by Benny Horne, the imagery prioritizes natural light, which is utilized to accentuate the intricate, voluminous layers of the garments, from sheer ruffled gowns to structured cargo-inspired tailoring. The editorial aesthetic finds harmony in the juxtaposition of organic, wind-swept dunes and the architectural precision of the collection, where metallic bronzes and dusty pastels meet the grounding earth tones of leather accessories. With styling by Romy Frydman, the campaign succeeds in merging a high-fashion editorial sensibility with the grounded, tactile reality of its environment. By avoiding excessive artifice, the team allows the intricate fabric work—featuring signature ruffles and lattice-work—to serve as the primary narrative. The result is a series of commercial yet deeply artistic images that feel both expansive and intimate, perfectly capturing the wandering, sun-drenched ethos that defines the modern luxury fashion house, ensuring the collection resonates with both its sophisticated heritage and a contemporary, minimalist edge.
