Zara Japan

Feb 2026
The latest campaign for Zara Japan effortlessly bridges the gap between high-end luxury fashion and the rhythmic pulse of urban Tokyo. Under the sharp creative guidance of Art Director Jacobo Salvador, the project leans into a sophisticated editorial aesthetic that frames the city as both a stage and a collaborator. Photographer Fumiko Imano captures the collection with a refined eye, utilizing soft natural light to highlight the intricate textures of tweed and structured faux leather. Stylist Hisato Tasaka masterfully curates a cohesive visual narrative, pairing classic pussy-bow blouses and exaggerated puff sleeves against the stark backdrop of iconic landmarks like the Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower. This lifestyle-focused imagery creates a dialogue between the models and their environment, moving from the concrete movement of a pedestrian crossing to the quiet, serene geometry of a traditional Japanese interior complete with shoji screen-style accents. With clean, elevated grooming from Kazuhiro Naka and makeup artist Takenaka, the campaign maintains a consistent, polished allure that feels grounded yet aspirational. By placing model Kayako Higuchi in these varied settings, the work achieves a sense of duality, effectively blending contemporary street-style sensibilities with timeless luxury. Each frame serves as a testament to the power of thoughtful composition, ensuring that the garments are always the focal point within the broader, cinematic portrait of a modern metropolis.
