Zara Fall 2024: Harlequin and Grunge

Oct 2024
Zara presents its Fall 2024 collection through a series of editorials titled Harlequin and Grunge. The campaign moves between clean, high-key studio compositions and moody, retro-inflected interiors, drawing on a monochrome palette to emphasize graphic silhouettes and theatrical textures. Photographer Nikolai von Bismarck leads the visual direction, capturing a juxtaposition of sharp tailoring and ruffled, whimsical accents. Fashion editor and stylist Alister Mackie anchors the project, integrating heavy textures, argyle patterns, and oversized tulle elements into a cohesive aesthetic. The imagery balances minimalist studio portraits against more atmospheric, grainy outdoor shots. Supporting the campaign’s polished visual identity, hair stylist Syd Hayes and makeup artist Lucy Bridge lean into dramatic styling choices that complement the collection's high-contrast, analogue-inspired look.
