Alister Mackie

Bio

Born in Saint Andrews Scotland. Alister studied fine art at the Glasgow School of Art before going on to receive an MA in fashion design from Central Saint Martins. He has been part of the Dazed family for nearly two decades, firstly as fashion director of Dazed then fashion director of Another magazine, before launching Another Man as its creative director. He currently retains the title of senior fashion director. Recently he has self published cult magazines THE LEOPARD and SCENERY a new title exploring the crossover between fashion and interiors. He has worked with legendary photographers Steven Meisel, Annie Leibovitz Willy Vanderperre, Alasdair McLellan, Collier Schorr, David Sims, Nick Knight and Ethan James Green. As a consultant Alister has worked in depth with some of the industries most revered fashion houses over the years including Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Dunhill, Louis Vuitton, Sonja Rykiel, Mui Mui, Prada, Missoni, Fendi and Tom Ford.
