For the Zara Beachwear Collection, photographer Álvaro Pereña Jimenez and creative director Gorka Sorozabal capture a series of seasonal portraits that lean into the relaxed, raw textures of coastal landscapes. The campaign moves between intimate, sun-drenched indoor settings and rugged, naturalistic outdoor environments, balancing high-contrast shadows with soft, warm natural light to ground the apparel in a lived-in summer aesthetic. Featuring model Francesco Cicerchia, the visuals utilize a blend of clean studio framing and documentary-style portraiture. Techniques including analogue film, monochrome photography, and hard light are employed to emphasize the earthy tones and tactile surfaces of the collection, from linen textures to patterned swim trunks. The project maintains a focus on quiet leisure, using minimalist architectural backgrounds and rustic coastal motifs to frame the garments.
