The TARANTULA A/W 25 collection for Willy Chavarria unfolds through a series of cinematic fashion editorial portraits that lean into devotional, altar-inspired aesthetics. Captured by photographer Diego Bendezu and styled by Carlos Nazario, the project centres on an opulent, theatrical set design composed of cascading deep red anthuriums, roses, dark grape clusters, and rows of flickering pillar candles set against aged masonry and high-contrast checkered stone floors. The imagery emphasises structured tailoring and oversized silhouettes, ranging from velvet suiting and wide-brimmed western hats to sharp, architectural coat dresses. With a moody, chiaroscuro-inspired lighting palette, the collection channels a solemn and reverent atmosphere, further defined by the use of film techniques to highlight tactile fabric details. The campaign features a diverse cast, including Paloma Elsesser, Malick Bodian, J Balvin, and Indya Moore, who embody the collection’s blend of formal luxury and subcultural style.
