Veintinueve Trece
Brand Identity

Feb 2020
For the Veintinueve Trece project, the brand identity centers on a rigorous exploration of editorial minimalism within the landscape of media and entertainment. Spearheaded by the graphic design of León Romero, the project bridges the gap between digital media and physical print, creating a cohesive visual language that feels both institutional and deeply personal. The design system relies heavily on high-contrast, elegant serif typography that dominates the visual field, whether applied to large-format outdoor exhibition structures in Lanzarote or intimate, tactile brochures. By integrating mixed-media elements—such as porous volcanic rock affixed to posters—the brand leans into a tangible, organic aesthetic that contrasts sharply with the digital screens of its event auditoriums. The project utilizes cinematic, low-key lighting and chiaroscuro techniques to establish a moody, professional atmosphere, ensuring that every touchpoint, from event schedules to documentary-style editorial spreads, maintains a premium feel. Through a mix of lifestyle photography and structured grid-based layouts, Veintinueve Trece establishes a sophisticated narrative identity that celebrates the intersection of photography, arts, and professional community. The result is a clean, intentional execution that prioritizes readability and impact, effectively translating a complex creative event into a distinct and memorable visual experience that resonates across both physical and editorial platforms.
