For the MAN OF THE YEAR project, Vein Magazine curates a striking vision of contemporary tailoring that leans into the sophisticated tension between raw texture and clinical precision. Through the lens of photographer Lázaro Scabbia, the editorial series captures model Julia Meseguer in a range of structured silhouettes, from voluminous, sculptural coats to sharp, minimalist leather ensembles. With fashion direction and styling by Erika Acosta, the project moves fluidly between lifestyle candor and the rigid requirements of commercial fashion photography. The execution relies heavily on an editorial minimalism that strips away environmental noise, favoring soft light and neutral, off-white backgrounds to allow the intricate details—frayed denim seams, symmetrical cutouts, and exaggerated sleeves—to take center stage. By utilizing natural light to highlight the juxtaposition of glossy leather against matte fabrics, the team creates a visual dialogue centered on modern architectural fashion design.
