The Hunger S/S 27 collection by Mowalola defines a sharp, contemporary aesthetic through a series of editorial portraits. Under the design direction of Mowalola Ogunlesi, the project leans into a raw, industrial mood, utilising low-key lighting and chiaroscuro techniques to accentuate the tactile qualities of leather, sequins, and sheer fabrics. Set against dark, reflective tiled and brick walls, the lookbook maintains a consistent atmospheric tone. The composition emphasizes sculptural silhouettes, with styling by Peri Rosenzweig and Re Han providing a precise balance of texture and contrast. Art direction by Aïcha Sommer ties the visual language together, creating a stark, moody presentation for the season.
