REMAINS Brand Identity 2020

About

This comprehensive branding suite for REMAINS represents a masterclass in commercial identity, where minimalist precision meets tactile storytelling. Spanning across diverse product categories, from curated wellness supplements to specialized grooming essentials like the Post-Trimmer Beard Balm, the project establishes a cohesive visual language that feels both clinical and inherently human. The aesthetic identity leans into a high-key lighting environment, utilizing stark white surfaces as a canvas for bold, sans-serif typography that communicates clarity and purpose. By weaving in graphic elements—such as stylized hand-drawn patterns and dynamic black-line hair motifs—the design transcends standard packshots, creating a sense of texture and movement against neutral, warm-toned backdrops. Beyond traditional product photography, the project incorporates sophisticated print techniques, including emboss and deboss detailing, which ground the brand in physical reality. Whether manifesting through the corporate stationery set for HAABS 1 or the vibrant orange exhibition catalogues from the Lyon Collection, the work consistently prioritizes structure and negative space. Developed through the collective creative direction of entities including Radość Agency, Ground, and Gemma Mahoney, the project successfully balances a polished commercial polish with artistic sensibilities. It is an exercise in restraint, where every detail, from the holographic foil finishes to the symmetrical product arrangements, reinforces a unified vision of premium modern minimalism.
