Akin to is a fashion editorial campaign for Present Space that explores contemporary silhouettes and tactile textures. Under the creative direction of Juan Duque and Nima Habibzadeh, the project features a series of intimate, high-contrast portraits captured by photographer Andrew Jacobs. The visual narrative relies on a minimalist studio aesthetic, blending natural light with controlled, even lighting to highlight the intricate details of the apparel. The styling, led by Marcus Cuffie, emphasizes refined, earthy tones and monochromatic palettes, moving between crisp white, muted greens, and sharp blacks. The series incorporates both editorial studio work and location-based portraits, utilizing techniques that range from clean digital capture to the texture of analogue film. The campaign features models Jackson Wakefield, Lainey Hearn, Lexy Hearn, MJ Herrera, and Zahra Traore, with beauty direction by hair stylist Dre Demry Sanders and makeup artist Janessa Paré.
