About

Does Size Matter? for Modern Matter is a comprehensive fashion editorial project that explores the interplay of silhouette and texture. Captured by photographer Joséphine Løchen, the series employs a clean aesthetic across a variety of portrait compositions, ranging from intimate macro beauty shots to structured, sculptural full-body frames. Fashion editor and stylist Rae Boxer grounds the visuals in a minimalist, tactile sensibility, pairing oversized tailoring with delicate layering. The project features a consistent use of soft, natural light to highlight the diverse hair and beauty treatments by Ryan Mitchell and Siddhartha Simone. With casting directed by Andrea Prato and Daniel von der Graf, the editorial leans into a raw, authentic approach, balanced by crisp, desaturated tones.
