Does Size Matter? is a fashion editorial series for Modern Matter that explores the relationship between silhouette, texture, and form. Shot by photographer Joséphine Løchen, the project leans into a minimal, clean aesthetic, utilizing soft, natural light to emphasize the structural details of the featured apparel and the raw textures of the subjects. The series is characterized by its focus on tactile surfaces—from oversized outerwear to delicate layering—and a commitment to crisp, unadorned portraiture. Styling by Rae Boxer grounds the imagery, ranging from structured tailoring to intimate, everyday staples. The editorial look is completed through precise hair styling by Ryan Mitchell and makeup artistry by Siddhartha Simone, with casting direction provided by Andrea Prato and Daniel von der Graf.
