Les Echos: Mode Metieres

Date

Oct 2026

Description

Mode Metieres is a fashion editorial project for Les Echos, featuring a series of character-driven images that blend high-fashion silhouettes with rugged, coastal environments. The work leans into a gritty, analogue aesthetic, utilizing high-contrast monochrome and grainy film techniques to emphasize the tactile qualities of intricate beadwork, lace, and sculptural tailoring. Photographed by Tarek Mawad with fashion styling by Aline De Beauclaire, the series showcases model Charlotte Tomas in a variety of outdoor settings, ranging from weathered stone staircases to sweeping oceanic shorelines. The execution makes extensive use of hard natural light to cast sharp, architectural shadows, creating a raw and atmospheric study of form and texture. Casting was provided by Vincent & Yasmine.
