Missoni
Missoni Beachwear S/S 26

Apr 2026
For the Missoni Beachwear S/S 26 campaign, Creative Director Alberto Caliri and Art Director Roberto Pignataro translate the brand's storied heritage into a vibrant, sun-drenched visual language that feels both timeless and current. This swimwear editorial leans into a sophisticated aesthetic, blending the house’s signature zigzag motifs and metallic-threaded knitwear with a relaxed, languid energy that channels the essence of high summer. Across a series of portraits and lifestyle compositions, the imagery prioritizes tactile detail—highlighting the shimmer of bronze, teal, and gold threads against neutral, sand-colored backdrops or striking, saturated blue voids. The project relies on a harmonious interplay between soft natural light, which captures the organic warmth of the skin, and precise studio strobe setups that bring sharp definition to the intricate textures of the garments. By pairing these complex textile designs with effortless, natural styling—meticulously refined through the work of hair stylist Dora Roberti and makeup artist Cosetta Giorgietti—the campaign moves beyond simple product showcase. Instead, it creates an immersive atmosphere of leisure and leisure-focused luxury. This editorial approach effectively recontextualizes the classic Missoni aesthetic for a modern audience, emphasizing the fluidity of the knitwear in dynamic, overlapping poses that evoke the heat and intimacy of a shared seaside escape.
