Louis Vuitton
Spring 2025 Ad Campaign

Jan 2025
For the Louis Vuitton Spring 2025 campaign, creative director Nicolas Ghesquière orchestrates a masterful dialogue between high-fashion silhouettes and classical artistry. The project serves as a sophisticated evolution of the luxury fashion house’s visual identity, grounding its latest collection in a series of striking, painterly environments. By utilizing expansive, impressionistic landscape backdrops—ranging from serene forests to dramatic coastal horizons—the campaign frames its subjects, actress Saoirse Ronan and musician Lisa, within a conceptual space that feels both timeless and distinctly contemporary. This commercial project relies on a polished editorial aesthetic, masterfully balancing the weight of structured tailoring and intricate leather goods against the soft, ethereal textures of the backgrounds. Photographer Steven Meisel captures these compositions with an expert eye for nuance, utilizing a blend of natural light and precise studio strobe to emphasize the rich tactile qualities of the fabrics and the luster of the signature gold hardware. Stylist Marie-Amélie Sauvé elevates the presentation, ensuring every layer, from crisp capes to elaborate tiered necklaces, reinforces a narrative of refined minimalism. By seamlessly integrating Laurent Grasso’s artistic landscapes, the campaign transcends traditional lookbooks, leaning into a fine-art sensibility that transforms the seasonal offering into a cohesive, atmospheric exploration of modern luxury, where the accessory remains the undeniable focal point.
