Loro Piana Icons

Jul 2026
Loro Piana Icons transcends the traditional fashion campaign by grounding luxury in the visceral, tactile reality of the natural world. Photographer Robin Galiegue crafts a series of portraits that function as a study in quiet refinement, drawing upon editorial minimalism to articulate the brand's commitment to exceptional materials. Featuring models Leon Dame and Raquel Zimmermann, the work leans into an atmosphere of understated elegance, set against the backdrop of historic, thatched-roof cottages that evoke a sense of timeless rural heritage. Through a mastery of natural light and high-contrast monochrome tones, the imagery highlights the complex structural weaves of wool knits and the crisp lines of tailored button-downs. Styled by Aleksandra Woroniecka, the project utilizes analogue film techniques to lend a cinematic, authentic texture to the subjects, whose serene and contemplative expressions anchor the visual narrative. With hair by Lukas Tralmer and makeup by Karim Rahman, the project avoids the spectacle of high fashion in favor of a portrait-driven focus, where the interplay between human stillness and landscape serves as the primary hook. The result is a sophisticated exploration of lifestyle imagery that speaks to the heritage of the house while maintaining a distinctly modern edge. By prioritizing shallow depth of field and soft-focus compositions, the campaign succeeds in rendering high-end knitwear as both accessible and inherently premium, perfectly encapsulating the essence of the Loro Piana legacy.
