La penseuse is a fashion editorial series commissioned by Les Echos, showcasing a blend of high-end tailoring and architectural portraiture. The project, led by art director Giorgio Martinoli, features model Berit Heitmann positioned within classical, ornate interior settings that contrast with the garments' clean, modern lines. Captured by photographer Mel Karch, the imagery utilizes a distinct editorial aesthetic that leans into monochrome palettes and analogue film techniques. Fashion editor and stylist Nora Bordjah rounds out the visual narrative with sophisticated styling, while hair by Vi Sapyyapy and makeup by Steven Canavan maintain a precise, refined finish throughout the spread.
