Waiting Room is an expansive fashion editorial project for Icon Magazine Australia that interrogates the relationship between contemporary menswear and the static, structured environments of modern design. Creative Director Justin Woo and photographers Michael Brunt and Justin Woo utilize a series of minimalist studio settings to isolate form, texture, and individual personality. The imagery oscillates between stark, high-contrast monochrome and warm, natural light palettes, emphasizing the tactile qualities of tailored blazers, knitwear, and graphic-printed accessories. Featuring talent including Noah Alef, Ton Heukels, and Marco Bellotti, the series leans into a contemplative, moody aesthetic. The compositions often center on physical interactions with furniture, where chairs function as both architectural elements and props for relaxed, pensive poses. With fashion styling by Kim Payne and hair by Richi Grisillo, the project balances refined tailoring with eclectic, layered street-inflected separates, documenting a wide range of silhouettes through a clean, graphic lens.
