A Salty Dog for ICON America is a fashion editorial series that navigates the intersection of maritime heritage and contemporary luxury. Photographed by Alessandro Burzigotti, the work leans into an analogue film aesthetic, balancing warm golden hour palettes with high-contrast monochrome sequences. The imagery captures model Valentin Humbroich against rugged coastal landscapes and nautical settings, utilising natural light to emphasise raw skin textures and refined knitwear. Fashion styling by Gro Curtis and Michele Bagnara defines the project’s textural quality, blending cable-knit sweaters and tailored trousers with functional accessories. The execution incorporates cinematic depth and voyeuristic intimacy, occasionally integrating script overlays that introduce a narrative, personal layer to the visual storytelling. Makeup by Luciano Chiarello and photo editing by Goran Macura support the project’s cohesive, gritty finish.
