i-D Magazine presents 'Welcome to Dior’s New Dawn,' a fashion editorial featuring model Cruz Kahlbetzer in a series of woodland-inspired portraits. Photographed by Matthias Vriens-McGrath, the project blends contemporary luxury fashion with a raw, tactile sensibility, moving between dark, high-contrast flash photography and soft, natural light compositions. The styling explores layered textures and classic sartorial elements set against dense foliage and park landscapes. The editorial was produced under the direction of editor-in-chief Thom Bettridge and editorial director Steff Yotka, with casting by Affa Osman and hair styling by Ryo Narushima. The work leverages a gritty, analogue film aesthetic to emphasize the interplay between sharp tailoring and the organic environment.
