For i-D Magazine’s 'Leave Society' editorial, photographer Jackson Bowley captures a series of surreal fashion portraits that play with composition and scale. Set against a clean white studio backdrop, the imagery centers on large wooden panels that serve as both sculptural props and staging platforms, creating a distinct visual dialogue between the subject and their environment. Set designer Rory Mullen incorporates playful, precise arrangements—from floating confetti and miniature decorative elements to organic props like fresh produce—to heighten the conceptual nature of the fashion editorial. With casting directed by Dean Goodman and model Stevie Sims at the forefront, the project leans into a minimalist aesthetic, using natural light and warm tones to emphasize the textures of the layered garments and the geometric sharpness of the set.
