Gimaguas
Gimaguas SS26 campaign

Jan 2026
The Gimaguas SS26 campaign marks a deliberate shift toward editorial minimalism, stripping away extraneous noise to place the collection’s tactile focus front and center. Captured by photographer Hart Lëshkina, the imagery leans into a high-key studio aesthetic, utilizing soft, natural light to illuminate the nuanced textures of charcoal jersey, silk-like fabrics, and structured suede. Under the discerning eye of art director Blanca Orbaneja, the campaign avoids the artifice of elaborate set design, opting instead for a clean, white-walled environment that frames the models—including Coumba Samba, Katharina Korbjuhn, Sarah Brown, and Sofia Testino—in a series of relaxed, composed interactions. Stylist Bianca Raggi anchors the narrative with a disciplined palette, juxtaposing casual, everyday elements like plastic cups and colorful lollipops against the sharp, modern silhouettes of the garments. The use of live-action techniques alongside static imagery creates a layered, rhythmic quality, further emphasized by the inclusion of reflective surfaces that multiply the subjects within the frame. By balancing commercial utility with a refined editorial sensibility, the campaign succeeds in articulating the Gimaguas identity as one that is both profoundly wearable and intellectually considered. It is a masterclass in controlled minimalism, where every element, from the embossed lettering to the carefully placed footwear, feels intentional and essential to the broader, sophisticated visual story.
